Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for another of the same type with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
