The Joie Roomie Glide

The Joie Roomie Glide is a bedside crib that allows parents to sleep together with their baby while making sure that they're asleep safely. Its smooth gliding motion can help soothe your baby to sleep and its ingenious features let you monitor your baby without leaving the bed.

The sliding side panel of the cot can be raised and lowered by a simple push of a single button. This makes it easy to reach inside and soothe a baby in the night. It comes with 11 height adjustments that can be adjusted to fit nearly any mattress size, and adjustable folding feet that ensure it's at the right level.

The cot is cushioned, has mesh sides to increase the airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density foam for added protection. It's also wipeable to keep it clean. It also is fitted with a sheet that's suitable for the cot.

The Roomie Glide, unlike some other bedside cribs is compatible with a wide range of beds, including divans. This is thanks to the clips and straps that connect to it. It can also be used as a stand-alone crib when it is not attached to the bed. It has many wonderful features that were designed with baby and parent bonding in mind.

One thing to bear in mind is that even though this crib is great for babies, it won't last long after your little one turns six months old, and you will require a bigger cot. Overall, Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide crib was an excellent purchase. She liked its sleek design.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside cot wooden crib designed with a safe night's sleep in mind. It has a drop-side rail which can be easily removed for feedings at night without having to disturb your little one or get them out of bed - it's ideal for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also light, making it easy to move around the house during naps and when traveling.

We love that it's constructed of soft materials that have breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and comfort. It's available in charcoal and oak, with a range of melange fabric options that blend well with most decor styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed with the legs securely snapping into the bed and the zips secured for baby-safety. It took Anna around 10 minutes to put it together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer support number if you have any problems.

As well as the usual features you'd expect from a Rocking Bedside crib crib that include the ability to be connected to your existing bed using a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option that can be used to help alleviate reflux or congestion in babies. The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of the more expensive options, but it comes with a lot of features. It's designed as a side sleeper or a standalone crib, and is suitable from birth up to six months. It features a brand new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel, and is simple to use, even for one-handed operation. It's also more flexible than the predecessor, with 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure fit underneath any bed.

Our testers loved the ease of access to the side panel that can be lowered and raised by pressing a button. This was particularly helpful at night, as they could reach inside and pick their baby up without waking them.

The side panel can be lifted on its own however, it's not advised as it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism means that it will only stay down when attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This feature is great to have peace of mind when you are breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases and beds with drawers. It has a tilting feature for babies with reflux, as well as the ability to rock to calm them after eating. It's also extremely spacious and provides excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, although it comes with a long instruction manual. It's a co-sleeping crib that attaches securely to your bed and can be transformed into a chic cot when your baby is old enough. Perfect for nighttime feedings and strengthening your bond with your newborn.

Unlike some other cribs for bed, the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. Its dual-view mesh sides as well as breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress maximise airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline helps to ease colic and reflux, while the zip down side makes it easy to feed or comfort your baby at night.

The cot conversion kit is also well designed, with clear instructions. It comes with everything you need. It took us around an hour to construct and was relatively easy to put together. The only drawback was the absence of captions in writing on a few of the images, which made it difficult to comprehend certain steps. Overall, the procedure was easy and the materials used were of top quality.

In the co-sleeping position, we found the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent choice for breastfeeding mums and women who have had a C-section, because it lets them comfortably reach out to their baby to feed and comfort them without having to climb out of their bed. It's great for parents who don't want to deal with the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot or getting them out of it.

The motion of gliding was found to be extremely helpful in lulling babies into sleep after feedings at midday or night. The drop-down side can be accessible to feed or soothe babies during the middle of the night, which was a real draw for our exhausted test mums.
