Buying a Filtered Coffee Machine

1. Better taste

The fact that filter coffee doesn't rely on pressure is among the main reasons why it tastes different from espresso. It takes longer to brew but the oils and aromas in the coffee are able to be more fully developed, resulting in an enveloping and smoother taste.

It's also the reason that many filter machines have cloth filters or mesh filters that are reusable instead of the paper filters. Paper is fine, but the cloth filters are superior (especially if you go for the eco-friendly ones) and will provide your coffee with that extra bit of flavor.
