How to Replace an audi q3 key G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor

The code will not appear without the additional information supplied by other sensors (G4 or G40).
Testing is a bit challenging since there are two connector pins, and they have different functions but the best method to test it is to measure resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read around 1000 ohms if the sensor is at full operation. If you're experiencing issues with this component, look for signs of oil or coolant in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, when accelerating from highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a massive drop in power. It was like the engine was running out of gas. Or, my injectors weren't firing. This morning i pull out the spark plugs, 3 were drenched in gazoline, the 4th one was dry. I placed a tissue over each hole in the injector and when i turn the engine on without sparks, the 3 with gazoline jump right out. The fourth one remains shut. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I found zero ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset the PID with no success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected, but it runs fine with the G28 plugged in. However, the intermittent misfire problem persists at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62), even if it is not plugged in, shows a temperature of -49c. Also i noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.0 when i rev the engine.
I'm not sure what to do. I think I've eliminated everything else. But i am afraid I might have missed something. If anyone has any ideas please chime in! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump in the g28 receives a signal from the RPM sensor. The GM-style transmitter functions similarly to the G4 sender and works on the 80,100,200, UrS, and RS2 vehicles. You can easily locate a spare in a wrecking shop or a parts store.
