Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like a weapon, armor, or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll their equipment in three attributes: physical power, item Upgrader magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next Success result is rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

During the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item upgrader's levels and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
