Following a series of social media posts hinting at it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally revealed its NFT (non fungible token) Project. Space Key was developed in collaboration with a non-publicized artist and based upon advanced carbon fiber composite materials that were sent to the International Space Station as research material, is a new project which was announced by Lamborghini.

Each Space Key contains a block comprised of the most advanced carbon-fire composite material, which was sent to the International Space Station as part of a research project in 2019. Each of the five Space Keys will feature a separate moment that occurs a few seconds apart as the Lamborghini Ultimae lifts off toward the stars. Each of the five images was filmed by photographer Fabian Oefner and contains over 600 million pixels.

Oefner employed an inflatable camera with a lens to capture the individual images, which were then added to the final picture. The result is an out-of-this world photo that captures the beauty of the Earth and the futuristic, hyper-realistic view of the car erupting from it. The Space Keys will be auctioned off in the near future, however the exact date and location of the auction haven't yet been confirmed yet.
